My good friend and former fellow captain Mike Benjamin has jumped into the digital game. He has a new website for Herbstackleshop.com Mike’s team plans to post fishing reports and host a monthly photo contest with prizes each month for the best fishing photos in the upper Chesapeake Bay area. Meanwhile we’ve heard that large striped bass have begun to reach the fall lines in the rivers that feed the bay. It’s a good sign for the upcoming season. This photo was taken yesterday near Chain Bridge in Washington DC.
